GF Bread (No Egg)

 15 min prep, 2 hour rise, 45 min cooking

Ingredients

3 C  Caputo flour
2 tsp  Instant yeast
1 tsp  Salt
2 C
 Water (110 °F)
1 Tb  Sugar
1 Tb
 Psyllium husk powder
3 Tb  Canola oil

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients in mixer.
  2. Dissolve sugar in water.
  3. Mix in psyllium husk and allow to gel (about 5 min).
  4. Mix in oil.
  5. Add liquid dry ingredients and mix vigourously for 4 min.
  6. Allow dough to rise for 50 - 75 minutes.
  7. After 30 minutes of rising, turn the oven to 450 °F and put the dutch oven in it (empty, with lid)
  8. When dough has risen about 1.5x, gently scrape the dough onto a piece of parchment paper.
  9. Take the dutch oven out, lower the parchment (holding the dough) into it
  10. Put the lid on, and bake for 30 minutes
  11. Remove the lid, brush the dough with margarine and grind on some salt
  12. Cook, uncovered, for another 10 - 15 minutes.
