Ingredients

4   egg whites
2 C icing sugar
C vegetable shortening
 ½ C Becel Vegan Margarine
2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp oat milk

Instructions

  1. Allow shortening to come to room temperature.
  2. Cream together with margarine until slightly fluffy.
  3. Remove from mixer bowl.
  4. Combine egg whites and sugar in bowl for double boiler.
  5. Place over double boiler and stir continuously (not whip) until they reach 160 ºF.
  6. Remove from heat and whip in mixer until stiff peaks form.
  7. Allow to cool.
  8. Mix reserved shortening mixture into egg whites.
  9. Mix in vanilla and oat milk.
